Hello!


My name is Diane and I'm perimenopausal.


In my personal journey to find ways to deal with a multitude of perimenopause symptoms, I discovered Sophrology.


This dynamic mind/body relaxation and harmonisation practice really changed my life.


Now I am very pleased to be able to share my skills and knowledge with women like you.

What is Sophrology?

Sophrology was created by a Professor of Psychiatry in Spain 60 years ago, and is very popular in continental Europe.


It takes its inspiration from Yoga, Buddhist meditation and Japanese Zen, amongst others.


Although he originally conceived it to help his mental health patients, Sophrology has also been found helpful with so many other issues such as: 


  • low mood,
  • sleep problems, 
  • stress, 
  • feeling worried,
  • and fatigue.


I am a graduate of the Sophrology Academy in Kent, the only Sophrology school in the UK, holding a professional Practitioner Diploma. As such, I am the only Sophrologist in Somerset and the only professional practitioner for many miles around to have completed this intensive 2-year training course.

What can Sophrology do for you?

Using a series of simple movements, Sophrology allows you to reconnect to your body and mind with no judgment, just finding a calm acceptance of those things we cannot change or control.


By focusing on the positive elements within, it gives you the tools to build inner strength and resilience to take life in your stride.  


You may find it effective to help rebalance, revitalise and rediscover your 'joie de vivre' - yes, it's in there somewhere!

Initial Consultation 60-90 minutes;

Followed by subsequent consultations of 45-60 minutes each.
